Portrait of Louisa Deming. Oval frame with figure in center. The sitter has her hair up and is wearing a black dress with a sheer top (neck and shoulders) She is also wearing an oval brooch of gold an ebony. She is dressed as if in mourning and it is speculated that this portrait was done around the time of her sister Charlotte's death in 1849.
