Description:
Linen thread sampler with bound edges, scalloped border in beige thread, with large cross stich alphabet (A-R) on top line, S-Z and block 2-9 on second line, a-y on third line, A_M in upper case script then A in beiges and blue thread with lines of different stitches between. Then eagle with black cross stitch body outlined in beige, blue, pink, yellow and brown wings. Then green extended octogon with floral flanking vines - inside octogon "Sarah Perry/Miss Pierces/Litchfield 1822" in pink cross stitch.
