Description:
Box made in shape of a small book, with folding lid, the lid having a mirror inside. The cover is glass, bound with embossed gold paper. Has image of man in 17th century cap, fur trimmed coat, boots; reverse wreath surrounding a cup. Chartreuse paper lining. In corner of inside bottom initials "H.B." on folded slip of paper inside is written "From Hannah Beach to Jane Jackson at Litchfield School parting 1830 - Room mates - all three"
