Henry Jones registered at the Litchfield Law School as having come from Calcutta in the East Indies. He is listed in the Litchfield County Bar Association Ledger in 1810. The only other information known about Jones is that he is listed as a counselor in the 1815 and 1816 city directories of Albany, NY.

The history of both schools and the identification of the students who attended them owe credit to the early 20th century research and documentation efforts of Emily Noyes Vanderpoel and Samuel Fisher, and the late 20th century research and documentation efforts of Lynne Templeton Brickley and the Litchfield Historical Society staff.
