Biographical Notes:
Frances Babcock Saltonstall, the daughter of Joshua and Hannah Babcock. Her father was a doctor and lawyer who served on the supreme court of the Rhode Island Colony. In December 1765 she married Dudley Saltonstall and they had seven children.
