Biographical Notes:
Isaac Jones was the pastor of the Western Episcopal Society's West Church in Bantam, a borough of Litchfield, from 1811 to 1826. Several newspaper advertisements in the Litchfield County Post in the 1820s indicate that he also ran a "select school" or "classics school" and would receive scholars in his house as boarders.
