Biographical Notes:
William Curtis Noyes was a lawyer in New York. He was active in the Union League and the Presbyterian Church. He argued many prominent cases. He was twice married, first to Anne Tracy of Utica with whom he had one surviving child, and second to Julia Tallmadge Noyes, with whom he had three children.
