Biographical Notes:
Cornelia Curtiss Deming was the daughter of Peter and Eliza Wadsworth Curtiss. Cornelia was married to Frederic Deming of Farmington, Connecticut, and during her lifetime established a successful catering business. After Cornelia's death the business was managed by her daughter, Gertrude Deming Biesenthal. The business remained in operation into World War II.
