Biographical Notes:
Samuel Adams, born May 3, 1706, was a native of New Milford, Connecticut. Early in his life he relocated to Stratford, Connecticut, where he made a career as a lawyer and judge of the Fairfield County Court. On March 7, 1728 he married Mary Fairchild/ A few years before his death he removed to Litchfield adn assisted his son, the Honorable Andrew Adams, in his extensive law practice. Samuel Adams passed away in Litchfield on November 12, 1788.
