Biographical Notes:
James Christie Palmer Esten was a lawyer and judge born November 7, 1805 at St. George, Bermuda, the son of James Christie Esten, chief justice of Bermuda and Ester Palmer. In 1832 he married Ann Frederica Hutchinson in Exeter, England and had several children. He died October 24, 1864 in Toronto, Canada.
