Charles Lloyd Strong (April 7, 1817)
Jeanette Bradley Strong of New Haven, Connecticut was the daughter of Abraham and Mary Ball Bradley. In 1810 she attended the Reverand Claus Herrick's female school in New Haven. Three yeras later it is believed that Jeanette may have studied at Sarah Pierce's school in Litchfield. On April 7, 1817 Jeanette married Charles Lloyd Strong, and the couple had three children during their marriage.
Jeanette Bradley is mentioned in John Pierce Brace's Journal, Vol. I in the entry dated Monday (July 11, 1814) - "Had a party at Aunt's Caroline Shipman and Jeanette Bradley being in town." Bradley may have attended the school in an earlier year and was returning to visit however, at this time there is no definitive evidence.
