Lynde McCurdy was born on April 4, 1755 and lived his whole life in Norwich, Connecticut. He married his third cousin, Ursula Griswold on November 20, 1777. After her death, he remarried Lydia Lockwood from Philadelphia.
He was known to be a merchant in Norwich and well liked by his peers. He passed away in 1803.
