Biographical Notes:
William Edmund Dickinson was the son of William and Mary Ann Wright Walker of New York. After his parent's death, he and his sister Mary Ann were adopted by family friends Anson Dickinson and Sarah Brown. During his life William married four times. He had eight children with his fourth wife, Elizabeth Sargent Dickinson. William passed away on June 15, 1899 in Florence, Wisconsin.
