Biographical Notes:
William Hudson was born on March 27, 1797 but other sources cite him being born in 1803. He participated in the printing business and worked with his brother in a furniture and auctioneer business.
He joined the Governor's Foot Guard and was considered a highly esteemed citizen. Hudson married Anna Miller, daughter of Reverend William Fowler Miller from Bloomfield, Connecticut. Together they had three children, William Miller, Anna Jane, and Regina Miller. Their Son William became a successful surgeon and appointed as Acting Assistant surgeon.
