Biographical Notes:
Sarah Fuller Hull was born in Newton, MA in 1759 to Judge Abraham Fuller and Sarah Dyer Fuller. She married William Hull in 1781. A biographical work about women of the Revolution indicates that Sarah was one of the women who traveled with her husband to the front, and notes her presence at the Battle of Saratoga, which occurred prior to her marriage. The couple had nine children and adopted a nephew.

She was with her Daughter who is in a poor State of health her lungs are dissorder’d. She has three children two Daughters and a son, but the poor little Fellow was very sick. He is a Beautiful Boy about six months old. The colln. has a fine countinance and is a fine Figure. They appear to be very happy. She has an excellent temper and inherites her mamas benevolence. They live near Watertown Bridge, have a very hansome house, and tis very well furnish’d. She is much improv’d by her camp life."
