Biographical Notes:
Daniel Denison Rogers was a Boston merchant. He married Abigail Bromfield in October 1781. A few years after her death in 1791, he married her half-sister, Elizabeth Bromfield.
Julius Deming of Litchfield was a business associate. When Rogers contemplated sending his son to Litchfield to study law, he corresponded with Deming.
